RESERVATION POLICY

Parking

As a city hotel, we do not have private parking spaces. However, there are public short-term parking spots directly in front of the hotel, which cannot be reserved and require payment. Additionally, there are several blue-zone parking spaces nearby, where you can purchase a day permit. Our reception is happy to assist you with this.

Children

We warmly welcome all children. Children under 12 are charged CHF 40 per night. Older children count as adults.

Some of our rooms can accommodate a maximum of one extra bed, which must be requested and confirmed in advance by reception.

Please note that these additional charges are not included in the total booking cost and will be billed separately during your stay.

Payment Policy

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards at the time of booking. However, charges will only be applied during check-in or check-out.

Non-Refundable Rates will be charged immediately after booking and can not be refunded.

Kitchenette

The kitchenette in your room is designed for light cooking and meal preparation. Please practice safe cooking habits and never leave burners unattended. We ask that you avoid using strong-smelling ingredients to prevent lingering odors. If a room requires closure for deep cleaning due to persistent smells, a cleaning fee of up to CHF 500 will be charged.

Non-Smoking

Our property maintains a strict non-smoking policy for the comfort and health of all guests. This includes the use of all tobacco products, e-cigarettes, vapes, shishas, and any other smoking devices within the premises. Violations of this policy will incur a processing fee of CHF 200. If a room requires closure for deep cleaning due to persistent smells, a cleaning fee of up to CHF 500 will be charged.

Accessibility

Due to the architectural design of the hotel, we regret that it is not accessible for guests with special needs.

Room Policy

We want you to have a great time here, but if things get too wild, we follow the classic “you break it, you buy it” rule.

Any property damage or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value.

Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after check-in to avoid responsibility and additional charges.

Guests are allowed to receive occasional packages or special deliveries with permission, but we are not responsible for the contents or storage of these items.

Liability

The hotel is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their property during their stay, except where such liability is mandated by law. Guests are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of their personal belongings during their stay.

The hotel assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while using the gym/fitness center facilities, where available. If you use the gym/fitness center facilities, you do so at your own risk.

Video Surveillance

For the safety and security of our guests, we have video surveillance in all public areas of the hotel. While Zurich and Switzerland are known for being very safe, we take these measures to ensure peace of mind for all visitors.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please review our cancellation policy during booking, as it varies based on the rate type you booked.

CHECK-IN POLICY

Check-In is available from 15:00 o’clock. Early Check-In is subject to availability, please ask the reception team.

If you expect to arrive after 18:00, please inform Residence Mutschellen in advance, in order to get the access code to the house. In any case, please inform Residence Mutschellen in advance of your expected arrival time. You can contact Residence Mutschellen directly via with the contact details provided in your confirmation or on our Website.

Check-Out is till 11:00 o’clock. Late Check-Out is available, but object to occupancy. Please ask the reception for availability and prices.

FACILITIES

Garden and seating area

Our garden seating area is open to all guests, offering a welcoming spot to relax outdoors. Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee, a midday break, or a peaceful evening, this space is designed for your comfort with tables, chairs, and sunshades.

LAUNDRY

Our laundry room is available for all guests and includes multiple washing and drying machines for convenient use. This service is chargeable; please check with the reception to arrange access.

Sauna and Fitness

Our fitness area, included in the price, is equipped with a treadmill, a bicycle trainer, and a multifunctional strength machine. For a more relaxing experience, guests can reserve the sauna in advance at the reception.
